Wake up to the warm sun rays of India and start your day with a delicious breakfast. Today is another exciting day at Delhi! Today’s attractions will include Qutab Minar, Akshardham and shopping in some Indian bazaars from where you can take home some interesting cultural gifts and souvenirs for your friends and family back home. Volunteers and assistance (if hired) will be at hand in case ramps are required to access difficult corners or platforms.

Today is the day you have been waiting for – a visit to the magnificent Taj Mahal – one of the seven wonders of the world. This beautiful monument of white marble was built by Mughal emperor Shah Jahan to honor his wife, Mumtaz Mahal’s demise. With altogether 22 years and 20,000 men to finish its construction, this most definitely one destination you do not want to miss while travelling in India. Special arrangements have been for wheelchair travellers to take their wheelchairs all the way up to the main monument.
Next to it on the opposite side of the Yamuna river is Agra Fort, from where you can watch one of the most breathtaking views of Taj Mahal. Agra Fort consists of sections like Pearl Mosque, Diwan-e-am (general public hall) and Diwan-e-khas (private audience hall) that were used to host entertaining events by the royal inhabitants that once ruled India.
Use the remaining evening to shop in Agra and take home some souvenirs of miniature Taj Mahal for your loved ones.
